My work of arts are based around everyday-life objects, seasonal in nature and especially food & desserts inspires me a lot. I love playing with proportion and put a little bit of humour in my work to bring a smile to someone's face.

Snowy Pastries Town

I picked this snowy-looking pastry when I was at this one cafe in Seoul. I think it would become Christmassy instantly if I put the trees in. And it does!

Nagano monkey in his private onsen

One of my destination if I have a chance to go to Japan again. When I see the picture of all the monkeys chilling out(or warming up..)in the hot springs. I always think what if the water has flavour?

Bouldering Birthday Cake

My friends go bouldering a lot and their artificial cliff with a lot of colourful holders look like sprinkles for me.

Daifuku, your softness is justtt right.

I wish every surfaces in this world to be like a Daifuku.

'Kati' the Snowman

Whenever I eat a coconut ice-cream, I often imagine this.

Let's hike to the Boba mountain!

This famous Taiwan desserts has many elements and a lot of different textures so I thought it might be fun as a hiking scene.

Isan's recipe

This editorial work for a day magazine is about the dish that represents Isan, the north-eastern part of Thailand. So I drew this particular dish with Isan people's life in rural surroundings.

Inokashira Park

This scene is like a dreamiest scene for me. I never had a chance to go there yet but it's like I was living my dream when I was drawing it.

Spring Day

I love the vibrant colour of the Spring in Japan. This painting is simple but I think you can feel the joy and enthusiasm of being outside at that time of the year by just looking at it.

Cours Saleya Market

Cours Saleya Market in Nice, France is one of the most beautiful market I've ever been to and this is a tribute to my memories there 10 years ago.

Capybara enjoys hot Yuzu bath.

This idea came in after watching a lot of capybaras-soaking-in-Yuzu-bath video clips almost everyday. Yes, Capybaras is currently my favourite animal ;)

Memories in Taipei

I drew this after I came back from Taiwan. I combined an exterior of the bookstore that I like, called Yue Yue & co. with the interior of bamboo steamer fulled of Xiaolongbao which is of-course a Taiwan's signature dish!

Take Your Pleasure Seriously

This is the artwork I created for a collaboration with 'happening and friends' to be made into a Furoshiki - multipurposed clothes.

At that time, I am quite obsessed with baking. it brings me joy whenever I feel stressed or nervous. I learnt a lot through baking and the thing that made me happy the most is I got to share what I made with my family and friends. I wanted this artwork to look bright and happy just like the mood that happens when people gathers for food.

Artwork for Connect Apart

This is an artwork for the pop-up event called 'Connect Apart' in Nagoya, Japan in October 2020. It is the jewellery and gifts event held in Takashimaya department store. So I has this idea about the gift that led to the 'Ribbon' and then somehow it led into escalator that gathers all the people to this event, decorated with gigantic decoration from the actual jewellery that participate with Connect Apart.
